Torridon! Dry weather! Signs of Spring!

So it's March and we are in Torridon and IT IS NOT RAINING! 

Let's have a look at the what's going on hereabouts. (N.B. The white building on the far right of the picture below is our cottage.)

Ooh look! Daffodils in bloom by the loch shore.

The sheep are looking fat. Gail says their bellies are full of lamb. Yum! 

The trees are not yet in leaf, although the catkins on the hazel have peaked. 

You can always rely on moss and ferns to provide additional greenery.

Back at the cottage, the sun has put in an appearance and I have spotted a splash of colour in the garden.
