Do you like this gift our friend A-M kindly gave Gail as a thank you for helping her during and after her recent hospital stay?
And not only is it big enough to carry a satisfactory quantity of dog treats, it will also serve as a reminder to Gail that I am now well overdue a train trip down to England, or at least to Edinburgh or Glasgow or somewhere similarly exotic. I gather my predecessor Bouncing Bertie once greatly enjoyed his brief exploration of the railway station in Newcastle upon Tyne.... Time for a return visit perhaps?
Gail says that problems on the railways due to intermittent strikes have deterred her from pursuing my 'train training' over the past couple of years, but it's my understanding that the industrial strife is now all resolved and so WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?
Oh, I hope you get to go, Nobby!! We hear freight trains from where we live, but have never seen one...let alone gone for a ride in a passenger train. Maybe you cna get a seat in the cafe car...BOL!!
ReplyDeleteI like the bag, Nobby. I hope you enjoy a train journey very soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful bag and I hope you get that trip soon, Nobby!

ReplyDeleteWell Nobby, I think the bag is pawfect. A train adventure sounds just the ticket to me! Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx
BOL BOL NObby oh dear me did Bertie ever have such a grand adventure in Newcastle. He not only bounced all over the train and platform he ran a 1/2 marathon with Gail in hot pursuit. Maybe if you go you might need a sign that reads...My name is not Bertie.
ReplyDeleteWe are in denial about Seaboard...I checked their website Sunday...there is a note Permanently Closed. So I guess it wasn't a dream.

What a perfect bag, Nobby. It almost looks like you could have been the model for that picture. We do hope you get a train adventure soon.
ReplyDeleteWe bet Gail will be planning that trip soon Nobby...especially if you promise not to stray from her side during your travels!

Your momma has a brand new bag
ReplyDeleteThat's a very smart bag Nobby, just what you need to carry your treats when you go on your first train journey!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Paca xx
Nobby - just promise you won't leap off the train at any intermediate stop - and if you do need a toilet break make sure Gail is armed with said bag full of HER important stuff before you do jump off the train - dog treats are optional.
ReplyDeleteYou are looking very dapper in your photo today.
Riding on a train is something we wish we had more of here in the states---and taking your pup is the best! And excellent way to have even more adventures Nobby!
