Short and sweet today, combining the LLB Gang's Nature Friday with YAM-aunty's Final Friday Feature.
Spring is an old car
Sputtering into action
Spark plugs needing cleaned...
PS All photos taken within minutes of each other at the mouth of Aberdeen harbour on Wednesday afternoon, the first two looking out to the North Sea and the second two looking back over the harbour and city.
good job Nobby, beautiful photos and oh no on the haiku if that is about Gails car. now that I type this I wonder if Gail has a car
ReplyDeleteGail does have a car, ten years old, and I love riding in it. Fortunately it is, so far, a reliable starter.
DeleteToodle-oo!
Nobby.
Love your haiku and your wonderful photos! Happy Friday!

ReplyDelete😁An interesting, contrasting, and quite magnificent display of a Scottish spring day. Well, any Scottish day really... Well done, Nobby. Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx (who is grateful to Gail for your 'voice')
Spring certainly is sputtering this year. Great haiku:-)
ReplyDeleteWe love lighthouses. The first pics look so friendly and then comes the cold and hurry inside before it rains photos. Nature can change quickly on us, especially on the water.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great poem and we love the pictures of the harbor area near you.
ReplyDeleteNOBBY and Gail what a wonderful Haiku from the Harbor at Aberdeen.
ReplyDeletePerfectly described what we saw in 3 lines. Nobby I might have giggled at sparks plug need cleaning. Did you get a dip in the sink when you returned home?
Hugs Cecilia
For a moment we thought that the last two photos were black and white! Then we saw the colour of your fur Nobby. What a contrast between the first two photos and the last two. Your weather does change quickly!
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed the haiku!
Love,
Paca xx
