We have had lots of lovely visitors this summer, and Gail says that I am lucky so many of them have been more than happy for me to jump up on their laps and settle down for a cuddle.
However, I am learning that occasionally there are guests who, despite also being lovely in every other way, are not so fond of having their legs used as a cushion for WFT's. We had one such friend visiting us at the Torridon cottage this week, and I want to show you how I am learning about respecting personal space.

ReplyDeleteyou are a good boy! i would love to have you sit in my lap. I have a sister in law and a friend that both are afraid of dogs, all dogs and neither of them want to be in the room with a dog. I love the chair the visitor is in, my grandmother had 3 of them on her screen porch when I was a child many moons ago. chairs are more comfy than laps so that is good and glad to see you were not locked in your crate. Our Jake had to be crated when people came to visit.

It's nice that you have your own chair with an ample cushion to lay on, Nobby. You are such a good boy to let your guest use her computer for a while. We bet you were right back in her lap as soon as the computer was gone.
