Inappropriately named?

On the way home from Torridon on Sunday we stopped off for a walk by the marina in Nairn and I ran into Massimo, a fellow wire-haired fox terrier.

It turns out we are half-brothers, both being fathered by JimBob of Craigmancie Foxies. But I have to say I am quite a bit taller than Massimo, despite being a year younger.

Gail had a nice long chat with wee Massimo's humans, Fraser and Nancy, who live in Elgin. I believe that Massimo means "biggest" in Italian and I am pleased to say Gail was tactful enough not to point out that perhaps Fraser and Nancy had not chosen the most appropriate name for their dog...

PS from Gail: it's not very apparent from my photos, but Nobby really was distinctly the larger of the two WFTs.

Well, Nobby, how wonderfurs to have met up with yet another relative. Craigmancie pawmarks all over the place!!! I had a dose of dog therapy the last couple of days - you'll read about that next week. Golly, it was good. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  4. In the next to last PHOTO Nobby looks almost twice as tall.
Nobby all your fan club is PAWSITIVE you are the most handsome of all of JimBob's pups.
When my favorite SIS and BIL of Angel Madi got their 2nd cat. SIS had a named picked out. BIL road a motorcycle to classes when he was a student at NCSU. He was certain the name, Harley, would be best suited for a rough and tough dog not a cat. But Harley did fit the cat purrfectly

  5. How lovely to meet a half-brother, Nobby. I bet you had fun together, but what has Gail been feeding you? You're at least a third bigger than Massimo.

  11. It must be due to all that good food, fresh air and exercise you get Nobby.

  12. There's quite a difference in size, maybe that pup's mom was smaller? But they do look so cute together!
