Do you prefer your summer flowers big, bold, bright?
Perhaps you favour a less showy bloom?
Or rock plants, here a delicate delight?
We love them all, and hope that you do too!
Happy Nature Friday, and thanks once again to the ever wonderful LLB Gang for hosting this our favourite blog hop.
the first photo is such a super photo it deserved to become a wall poster...

ReplyDeleteMy word, Nobby - that really is a garden of delights! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Oh how beautiful they are Nobby, what a delight to the eye. The added bonus is of course your handsome self gracing each photo. It seems to me that your part of Scotland looks more like the Mediterranean each day.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Amber xx.
Those blooming shrubs are simply gorgeous!! The other pics are lovely too...
ReplyDeleteWe love all flowers - they are all beautiful and you are posing most handsomely with them, Nobby!
ReplyDeleteWow Nobby - those rhododendrons! F thinks she might like Aberdeen. Where she came from in Dunedin NZ they had a special rhododendron section in their Botanical Gardens, but although it was huge, old, and well developed, she doesn't recall anything as big and bright as that. xxx Mr T
ReplyDeleteAll so lovely and bright - and dry! No mud anywhere for you to cool yourself, Nobby.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful flowers. What a gorgeous place to visit.
ReplyDeleteI love each and every thing you showed us today. I prefer these to what I call hothouse flowers, the kind that are planted in rows and pinched and trimmed and made to look like they were not meant to be. In other words, I love the ones that grow as nature meant them to grow.
ReplyDeleteNobby I like my flowers all sizes and colors but especially when you are posing with them. That first picture is AMAZING
