No Nobby, they don't. Did you have fun chasing Gail's? Did she let you have a ride on them? According to Carol, we'd have to travel a long way to find any snow! She also says that our forecast says we can expect daily maximum temperatures of 19-20ªC for the next week and on Christmas Eve it will be 21ºC! So there'll be no snow here. Between you and me, I'm worried about Santa getting his sleigh this far south! Love, Indy xx
Hi Indy! Our snow disappeared suddenly overnight, so perhaps we should be worried about Santa getting here too. What I learned at the weekend is that humans on skis are not very manoeuvrable, and pups can work this to their advantage... Toodle-oo! Nobby.
Be careful Nobby, F told me about meeting a k9 about your size harnessed to a human on planks in the mountains above Bergen when she lived there. The k9 was pulling. I watched k9s pulling a human on a slidy thing on snow on TV last night. This doesn't bode well you know - especially for energetic k9s. Paw smacks Mr T ps F has only got one plank, both boots....is that weird or what?
Hi Mr T Gail tried to watch that programme on TV last night, but turned it off after a bit as she says she couldn't stand the din. I was only trying to converse with the huskies... Toodle-oo! Nobby.
Hari OM Well, Nobby, looks to me like you got used to the idea okay and acted as pathfinder! That sure was a decent layer of snow for Gail to practice her plank walking technique... you will not be in the least surprised to hear that Dunoon as back to 'situation normal' of wind, rain, and the ultimate dreich! Hey ho... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Our parents have never tried walking on planks, but we have heard there is a pair of snowshoes in the garage somewhere. Did those planks help Gail keep pace with you, Nobby?

nope, but it sure is fun seeing yours on planks, we assume that is your human.. she needs them to keep up with the wild wonderful wirehaired FT
ReplyDeleteNO if they did the planks would quickly be turned in to SPLINTS...
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy you and Gail had a nice cross country skiing trek

ReplyDeleteWe never walked on planks in New Hampshire, USA, but we did use big (snow) shoes!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen those things before. Did you mom's feet become wooden and sleek.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Your Gail needs to come across the pond and try that with us huskies! Woohoo!
