So we've had more lovely visitors this week and I can now claim to have ticked the 'ladies in funny clothes riding bicycles' box on my 'people to meet' list.
Also, Bertie's old walking companions M and J showed up on Saturday morning. M is getting to grips with her first ever smart phone. Gail says this is very impressive for someone born well before the start of World War Two.
BOL, I wouldn't suggest that one to her!
ReplyDeleteBit cheeky - try keeping up with her when she is riding one of those bike things! Then you'll discover she faster than most humans of her stage of life. Paw smacks Mr T
ReplyDeleteyou are da fastest terrier we ever saw...and we love that you get so much visitors... our grampy got da furst ever smart phone last year... it was special... so to say...
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of lovely visitors you've had Nobby. Did M and J bring some of their very superior treats for you? Bertie used to speak very highly of them (Mand J and the treats).
ReplyDeleteWell, I suppose Gail could be slowing down, but as a young puppy you are bound to be full of energy. One day you will reach a compromise and walk at just the right speed that's comfortable for both of you.
Love,
Inca xx
I hope you learn the recall quickly. You do look like you're moving quickly, Nobby!
ReplyDeleteSo 'recall' is when you come back if you feel like it, right?

ReplyDeleteWell, Nobby, speaking as one whose speed has been slowed almost to zero in the last few years, I am more than a tad envious at Gail's capacity to move... though I must tell you that when I looked at that last photo just now I was thinking 'golly that wee lad looks like he is doing true zoomies... I don't ever recall Bertie doing such zoomies...' and then I read your parting shot! Perhaps it is time for Gail to get you running along on leash beside her bike... that way she can definitely keep up and you will get the full stretch! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

is there still time to change your name to Speedy Gonzalez? or do you even know who he is? you answered why we adopt senior dogs. neither of us is up to training or caring for a running puppy.. glad Gail Can and Did and Will. so happy you are checking off your list of meet and greets so quickly. you are the zoomie KING... I was born smack in the middle of WWII and hubby was way before the start, I love my smart phone and can not get him to even consider a simple flip phone..
ReplyDeleteNobby looks like you provided grand entertainment for M&J...What an accomplishment to be so quick on your paws. As for running at lightning speed and possibly being quicker than Gail!!?? She is a younger whipper snapper than yours truly. I know for 187% (87 is a big deal # here in blogville) certainty I am slower than I was 12 years ago. As for being cheeky, OMDs Nobby with cheeks as cute as yours no worries.
ReplyDeleteHugs to Gail and to you if she can catch you.

You sure look like you are having fun zooming around your yard, Nobby. It's good to hear you are getting to meet so many new people, too.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, a bit cheeky, little lad!
ReplyDeletePS Nobby
ReplyDeleteBertie's pals Dui and Roxy from Oz have a surprise...he/she/it will be featured on my blog Friday...JUST SAYIN'
But do you bounce off people like Bertie? And we think you’re cheeky, but that’s good in our opinion!
ReplyDeleteI am sure they instantly fell in love with you
ReplyDeleteYou are so darned cute Nobby and so VERY darned fast! Gail has her work cut out for her keeping up with you!
