At this time of year here in Scotland, I am used to encountering bracken all over the place.
But I did not expect this week to find Bracken* located on my favourite Duthie Park perch.
After a moment's hesitation I decided it was OK to share.
*Gail explains: 'Bracken' is a four year old spaniel whom we often meet on our morning walks. She is friendly, but her owner has learned to keep Nobby well away from her prized bouncy orange ball...
Happy Nature Friday! Thanks once again to our ever wonderful blog hop hosts the LLB Gang.
ooh hat is a super cute friend.... Hi Bracken!!! and you two look great together
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to meet friends and good to share.

It's fun to have friends you meet on walks. We have several around here and it is always nice to get a good sniff with each other. Sadly, several of our favorite friends for years have passed away in the past year but we find new friends too. Very nice photo of the two of you.
ReplyDeleteYou and Braken look cute perched on the post together, Nobby, and I understand about being stingy with my ball too!

Me thinks Bracken might be nisnamed. Adorable, but NOT as adorable as You dear Nobby.. I was laughing out loud thinking you were talking about the bracken bushes and thinking I don't think those ferns are bracken. ha ha on hiding the precious orange ball. I drawing a blank on what I would name Bracken
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhhhhhh Nobby Bracken has a wee bit of an attitude about sharing her orange ball. I loved seeing you two posing together.
ReplyDeleteOh guess what I had a surprise on my EMW . I met a lovely Cocker Spaniel...lady. Her name is Reba she is a salt and pepper color. I've never seen a cocker that color. Her Mom told me she was an English Spaniel.
When the Geek asked if I wanted the old computer or did I want him to recycle for us. Bryan dashed in the office said no I want to keep it. I'm gonna set it up in my train room.
Hugs Cecilia
