Shortly after yesterday's morning romp around Duthie Park (so good to be back there) Gail hastily bundled me into the car and announced we were heading to Edinburgh for a couple of days.
No-one living in Scotland, not even a WFT with little interest in global superstar pop phenomena, can fail to have been aware that a certain Taylor Swift was performing three sell-out concerts at 73,000 capacity Murrayfield Stadium in our capital city this weekend.
Could it be that Gail is secretly a Swiftie?
You'll have to come back on Wednesday to find out what we've been up to.
Meanwhile, after a brief immersion in the refreshing water of the River Dee, I just need a moment to 'shake it off'...
Duthie Park looks a good place for a serious romp. Terrific and thorough shaking, Nobby.

ReplyDeleteWell Nobby, I suspect that water was more brisk than refreshing and I like your shaking style! Main thing is that you got to go to Edinburgh too. Wonder which of its hills you'll be repeating from? Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx
...dang auto correct.... reporting from....
DeleteNo, we don't think Gail is a secret Swiftie, because it's unlikely you would be able to go along to the concert too. We think YAM-aunty is right and you'll be enjoying fresh air and a splendid hill walk or two! Hope the weather stays warm and sunny for you.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Paca xx
you are The Best Ever at shaking off water. love the sounds of you in the water and I am thinking, if not going to see Taylor, you may get caught up in the mess of it all. she came to Tampa, 40 miles from us and it even effected our traffic here.. what ever you do I hope its fun for you
ReplyDeleteThe river is so clean and looks so refreshing and you look like you are really enjoying it, Nobby!
ReplyDeleteOh I liked seeing that video. My Oscar would no more do that than he would share a biscuit! He is looking at me now willing me to take hm to the beach - he seems to know the tide times instinctively. But little does he know that later this week I'm riding LEJOG on my motorcycle and he will be 'abandoned', albeit he'll throughly well cared for by my wife Jane.
ReplyDeleteYou look so happy to have Gail back Nobby. Enjoy your little adventure south ....
ReplyDeleteYou look refreshed after your dip in the river, Nobby. We can't wait to hear what you and Gail were up to in Edinburgh, but we doubt it was to see the Taylor Swift concert.
ReplyDeleteNobby, you have the very best "shake off"!
ReplyDeleteOOOOHHHH a Swiftie...My neighbor told me over the weekend that she has friends who will keep their small grandchildren while their parents travel to see Taylor in Switzerland.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous clear water Nobby
Just had the house and deck power washed. They will be back on Wed to do some small repairs and stain the deck Birch Grey
Hugs Cecilia
Mama makes no secret of being a Swiftie...but her concert days are over. We do think that, even though "Tay-Tay" is a cat lady...she would love to meet you, Nobby! We can't wait to hear of your adventures, whatever they might be!

Nobby, that was some fine bouncing through the water!
ReplyDeleteOne hundred millioin Swifties can't be wrong.
ReplyDeleteWow, so many people going to the concert! Our mom does not understand all this swifty stuff! But it looked like a good time for YOU NObby!
