Who needs expensive toys when the sea provides kelp - lots of fun at no cost to purse or planet!

Happy Nature Friday to blog hop hosts the LLB Gang, and to all the lovely NF contributors.

  1. We used to carve bouncy balls out of the kelp stalks Nobby - you are right, fun, plastic free, and just fine to throw back in the sea when you are finished with it (or in F's case, dig it into her garden).

  2. What fun you had with that kelpie Nobby!
Dogs are not allowed on the beaches in our town, so I've had no chance to check out what fun you can have with kelp. Although Carol says we just have ordinary seaweed, which is nothing special. It's cleaned from the beaches first thing in the morning, so I'd have to be up super early to see it!

  7. That looks like fun. You need to grab it and take running so your mom can chase it a bit too, LOL! If we were off leash that is what we would do.
