Well, so much for March coming 'in like a lion out like a lamb'.
No-one seems to have mentioned that a polar bear might drop by to visit in between...
I looked around in vain for the normally ultra-reliable Duthie Park snow plough yesterday morning.
It turned up just as we were heading home. We think the driver, normally so diligent and up at the crack of dawn, had imagined winter was over and allowed himself a lie in!
You were busy making tracks before the plough arrived! F loves the snow on your beard (in fact I suspect she has taken a shine to you generally old chap - you always look like you have found something of interest.) Paw smacks Mr T
ReplyDeleteoh my!!! is that photoshopped? LOL... we hoped for spring this weekend... do you think we will get a white surprise too?
ReplyDeleteNow that's proper snow, not like the wimpy stuff we've got here.
ReplyDeleteI like your smart blue coat, Nobby - very becoming.
Lucky you, Nobby! We need another bit of snow here!
ReplyDeleteyou do look so handsome with snow in your beard, and we need to know how that was accomplished. that is a lot of snow for this time of year. we have extreme JULY heat here.
ReplyDeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteWell, Nobby, there is the pawsibility that Snow-plough Man just had rather more work than usual to get around that morning! You do look very smart in your blue coat against all that white... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
OMDs Nobby you had such lovely weather at the Cottage. I know this unexpected blast from the North was a rude awakening to you and Gail
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely patch of blue sky thought
Hugs Cecilia
You got quite a bit of snow, Nobby. We love playing in the snow and have been sad with how little snow we've gotten this year.
ReplyDeleteNobby, it looks beautiful out there, and weren't you lucky to be making the first tracks through virgin snow!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen snow, but Carol says it can be cold and wet and get stuck to paws and tummy fur and be quite uncomfortable. She remembers her first Lab. Sultan used to love rolling around when there was enough snow, but that was when they lived in a place called England, which I've only heard about! I wonder if I'd like snow, but I gather we're not going anywhere to find out. Today it's a lovely sunny 23ÂșC, and that's how Carol likes it!
I can only look at your photos with envy!
Love,
Indy xx
Oh my goodness....What a wonderful March surprise, Nobby!! I sure wish we would get a some snow before Spring gets here...but looks like we're just heading into some warmer weather. Enjoy!!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
We are SO JEALOUS, being that we are snow dogs without a lick of the white stuff this winter! Please send it to us!!!!
ReplyDeleteA late season snow is so much fun, especially because it should melt quickly.
ReplyDeleteWe once had over a foot of snow...a few days after it had been 80F and all the tulips were blooming...they got smashed:(
ReplyDeleteIt was in April!!!
Did you romp in it, Nobby? We are supposed to get another big dump of snow on Friday...
