Gail says that nature documentaries are there to help everyone better appreciate and understand the natural wonders of our planet, and to encourage us to preserve them for the future.
She says that our magnificent (and seemingly immortal) Mr Attenborough and his crew do not go to all that trouble filming wolves in the Arctic in order to provide a certain fox terrier with hunting tips.
I disagree. And I would like to thank Sir David for showing me what to do should I happen to find a herd of bison roaming Duthie Park this winter.
Happy Nature Friday friends! And once again thanks to the LLB Gang for hosting this, our favourite blog hop. Do go and visit the other posts.
we agree.. if bisons come and run around in your dog prk, you can be the chief of the security squad... good thing... it sure can happen... we had a camel once in our dog park and we had no video tutorial so we ran away, back in da car...

ReplyDeleteWell, Nobby, I enjoyed watching you watching! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
I think I would run the other way if I saw a herd of bison roaming in your park, Nobby!
ReplyDeleteWe did see bison a few times right outside our car last spring in the Badlands. They are big and scary looking. We didn't even howl because we were kind of afraid of them. Watching prairie dogs was much more fun and interesting.
ReplyDeletewe needed this tutorial, we once saw a coyote running down the street straight at us. Beau dragged me or I dragged him, behind a parked car to let it go by, it went back and turned and came by again.
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness Nobby, just imagine seeing Bison in Duthie Park! You could be extra helpful and ask them if they've lost their way - I'm sure they would appreciate directions to find their way home!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Inca xx
Nobby for sure knowledge is powerful so happy dancing you know that should you encounter a bison on a daily trek your terrier DNAs need to turn and run!
ReplyDeleteOh be sure to drag Gail with you.
Hugs and happy Friday
Cecilia
We think it would take quite a few of your friends to help you take down a bison should one appear in your favorite park, Nobby. Maybe you could try your skills on something a bit smaller to start like a squirrel or bunny.
ReplyDeleteI dunno Nobby. Maybe it's humans that miss the point. Happy hunting, and if you do encounter bison in Dutthie Park, make a documentary. Filming had made people richer and more famous than hunting ever did. Paw smacks Mr T
ReplyDeleteNobby you are one sweet doggie ~ love you watching videos and learning ~ wow! Xo
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days ~

We can definitely imagine you stalking one of those bison, Nobby. But, ummmm...you may want to bring a few of your pack mates to help you hunt it down!!
ReplyDeleteWe are big fans of (the seemingly immortal is right!!) Mr. Attenborough also, and are always mesmerized by his voice!
xoxo,
Rosy
Nobby, you are an intellectual dog, watching for knowledge. Lucy does, too. But she likes cooking shows. No wonder she watches me so closely in the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a big pack of your WFT friends with you the next time you come across any bison in your park this winter! Happy hunting Nobby!
ReplyDeleteMy parents can't watch those videos because I try to chase the animal off the screen
ReplyDeleteYou sure were watching that intently. Our people can't watch anything with animals as someone whose name starts with H, barks too much. We wonder if all of blogville could mess with a buffalo. Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, we need to get mom to find that program for us! It might help us with our unsuccessful pursuit of squirrels! Thanks for the tip Nobby!
