A misunderstanding regarding F1 cockerpoos

I met Jasper on the Aberdeen city beach on Sunday afternoon.

When he said he was an 'F1' cockerpoo I thought that meant he wanted to race

He certainly could show Lewis Hamilton a thing or two about cornering technique...

PS Explanatory note for readers - especially those across the Pond: F1 is an abbreviation of Formula One, the form of motor racing popular in many parts of the world but perhaps less well known in the USA. In the dog breeding world, F1 of course refers to a first generation cross.

  2. Look at you go!! Speedy pups!

I used to watch a lot of car racing when I was in high school...I had a teacher who loved it, so when our work was done he would show us films, LOL!

  4. Wow Nobby - great racing photos. Some most excellent cornering. The Tigger is very jealous, he loves speed and cornering (when there are wheels under him...)

  5. Nobby you are running at Mach 1 speed and OMDs taking corners like a champ! I think you and Jasper well suited for a race on the sand track.
Over here we know all about Formula 1 racing. We are both lovers of fast and fancy cars. One of us is a gear head, one of us just loves pretty cars especially red.
However, neither of us had a clue about F1 pups. I'm thinking Jasper might have a wee bit of Cheetah DNAs too he is quick.
That is most interesting and thank you for the link
    Hugs Cecilia.

  6. Nobby, you held up the reputation for WFT's very well there, and you're still only a pup. Keep practising and you'll be a champ!

    Love,

  7. You and Jasper sure were having lots of fun chasing each other around the beach. We are well aware of what F1 is as our dad is a super fan. He watches all the practices, qualifying and the race so we get to see lots of it with him.

  11. Wow! We're glad to meet your friend Jasper, and we think you did a great job running. Chester is getting a bit too old to run like that anymore. But he used to be a good hunter and chaser.

  13. I am late to this race, missed it, and it never showed in my feed list. I did not know about the F1 racing or dog world. they are evenly matched and wish I could run that fast. or be there and watch them run. so cute and sweet, love that cornering. I came over to say, there is no silent button on the cell but would not matter, just aiming it at him and he gets up and moves. i have to get creative sometimes and use the selfie mode so he doesn't know it is watching him.
