Any ball in the park belongs to me. Even, no especially, if another pup claims it as their own.
No matter how big or small, every human and every dog I encounter must be prepared to stop what they are doing and play with me.
Subclause to the above: Gail is not allowed to sit down quietly and read in the evening if I am in the room.
"Play nicely" is not a thing.
I should be allowed to eat my meals when I feel like it. If I happen instantly to regurgitate, 'recycling' should be permitted.
If when out on a walk, we reach a busy road with lorry traffic, I should always be carried in Gail's arms.
Puppy class is for girly swots.
Responding to shouts of "Nobby, COME!" is only necessary when distractions are wholly absent.
A leaf being blown across the grass 100 meters away counts as a distraction.
Bicycles and brooms are to be reclassified as "Nobby's toys".
PS Gail's friend Kirsty and her daughter Monica looked after me for a few hours on Thursday while Gail went cycling with her pals. When Gail picked me up, Kirsty (a retired vet with much experience of dogs) said; "That's one wild puppy you've got there!" That was a compliment, right?
Always keen to visit neighbour Kirsty and wee poodle Ella |
Nobby, those little flap doors are for bringing things IN, not trying to shove brooms out through. Beware of bicycles, bits of them bite back. (F knew a dog once that used to chase cyclists and try to bite the chain. Now that was a stupid dog. Prove to the world that you are smarter than that.) Paw smacks Mr T
ReplyDeleteou need da magic spell to start that broom-flying machine... it was up! if we remember that hairy potter right ;O)
ReplyDeleteNobby, my human had to laugh at the first video of you with the broom! Her second Lab., Coppa, used to do that when he was a tiny puppy - she said it was hilarious!
ReplyDeleteOh dear - you won't be very popular with other doggies if you don't play nicely, and give them their balls back, but I guess you'll have to learn that the hard way.
If bicycles are reclassified as Nobby's Toys, are you going to learn to ride one, so that you can go out with Gail and her friends?
Love,
Inca xx
You are certainly a busy little man, Nobby. Your videos made us laugh☺ And what's up with the hoomans jumping to attention and always cleaning up our reguritated foodables?!
ReplyDeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteWell, Nobby... On one paw, I am impressed that you are determining your own character and establishing your authority on brooms and bikes... on the other paw, I may have to take the view that if Kirsty thinks you to be wild that pawhaps those puppy classes might be worth paying more attention in - swotty or not! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
thanks for my early am laugh out loud moments. you are so cute and ACTIVE and I love it. but only in videos and blogs. Your antics are exactly why us 2 very old seniors adopt senior dogs... can't keep up with the puppies any more. wow, if the vet thinks you are wild, you must be WILD... but awfully cute. I am loving your daily reports, keep them coming... watch out for foot pedals, they might bite you
ReplyDeletePS.. I almost said you could come live with us because I would leave the regurgitated for you to re-eat BUTT who would chase the pup?
ReplyDeleteNobby
ReplyDeleteBryan and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and 2 shows. OMDs
We laughed our heads off at you trying to take the broom thru the doggie door you determination is admirable. Brooms can often be harboring evil. Best to show it early who is boss of it. You do everything (even eating) with gusto.
Kirsty's comment to Gail was too funny. Good thing Gail has years of experience with 'terrorists'. I am certain before long you will learn your days go better when you play nicely. Maybe Ella will have a calming effect on you.
Hugs and :::whispering::: you just keep on doing what you do while we enjoy it from across the pond. Cecilia
Are we about to emphasize the NAUGHTY Nobby over the NICE Nobby ... as for this posting, we will be laughing all week long!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a cutie, Nobby. We used to attack the broom here too but eventually grew out of our fascination with them. It was cute of you to try to take it outside through your little doggie door. BOL!
ReplyDeleteWe think you should get all those rules published Nobby as every single one makes sense to us(especially Sunny)!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Sunny
Sounds like a reasonable list of rules to me!
ReplyDeleteWow, I agree with Kristi after watching the videos, especially the bicycle video! At least now Gail won't be lonely or bored during the remainder of the pandemic!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, the broom toy made us laugh out loud! You are a doll Nobby and it's so much fun to be a puppy, right?
ReplyDeleteHi friend, Ojo here! Well done! Wild Puppy is a compliment indeed!
